("Kıvılcım Akademi") processes your personal data as the data controller within the framework described in this notice, in accordance with Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data ("KVKK"). Categories of Personal Data
- Identity and contact data, course progress and assignment records, live lesson attendance and recordings, payment transaction records (card details are kept by the payment institution), certificate data, IP and cookie data.
Purposes of Processing
- Providing the training service and operating the student panel, issuing and verifying certificates, payment and invoicing, mentor matching, progress reporting to corporate clients, measuring and improving training quality.
Legal Grounds
Your personal data is processed under Articles 5 and 6 of the KVKK on the grounds of establishing or performing a contract, complying with a legal obligation, legitimate interest and, where required, your explicit consent.
Transfers and Retention
Your data may be shared only to the extent required by the purpose with authorised public bodies and with the IT, payment and communication infrastructure providers we use; transfers abroad are made only in line with Article 9 of the KVKK. Data is kept for the period set out in the relevant legislation or, where none is stated, for as long as the purpose requires, and is then deleted, destroyed or anonymised.
In courses taken on behalf of a corporate client, progress information is shared with the employer with the employee's knowledge. The certificate verification page shows only name, course, date, hours and status; ID number, email or phone are not shown.
Your Rights
Under Article 11 of the KVKK you may ask whether your data is processed, request information, ask for correction or deletion, learn which third parties receive it and object to its processing. Send your written request to kvkk@kivilcimakademi.com; we reply within 30 days at the latest.
